Traffic Management Strategy

Haldimand County has retained R.J. Burnside & Associates Limited to develop a Traffic Management Strategy that will put in place a process to address speeding through engineering, education, and enforcement practices. Addressing traffic concerns and develop actionable solutions is Council priority for the 2023-2027 Term.

The strategy developed will be a Made-in-Haldimand County strategy to deal with unique local needs. Input from residents and stakeholders is essential and opportunities to provide feedback will be shared here as the project progresses.

We want to hear from you! Residents are encouraged to attend one of the open houses for the first round of outreach. The first round of public input will be an important part of the information gathering process. Feedback can also be provided by taking the Traffic Management Strategy survey, coming soon.

There will be a second round of open houses to present preliminary conclusions. Details for the second round of public open houses will be posted once available.
