Online Community Open House: Hagersville Downtown Street Tree Revitalization - February 26

Haldimand County invites community members to attend an online community open house to learn more about the Hagersville downtown street tree revitalization program.

As part of the planned street tree revitalization, staff are conducting community consultations to support the evolution of a downtown street tree enhancement program for the County’s downtown areas.

Hagersville has been identified as having a downtown area to benefit from the program. It includes its downtown portions of Main Street North/South and King Street East/West.

The existing street trees are limited in surviving numbers, placement, consistency, and expected lifespan. A proactive tree establishment and replacement plan, applying the “right tree, right place” principle will ensure the Hagersville downtown remains beautiful for many years.

Residents are encouraged to register and attend the online open house session to learn more about the project and provide input into the design of this community project.

A one-hour session (presentation and Q&A session), facilitated by Pl.ural is being held via Zoom (video teleconferencing platform) on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, commencing at 7:00 p.m.

If you have any questions or to register for the meeting please contact Tatijana at tatijana@ska-plural.ca or by calling (519) 787-4313. A dedicated Zoom link will be provided to the meeting registrants.
