Leaf and yard waste collection begins April 21

Curbside collection for leaf and yard waste begins Monday, April 21, in the urban areas of Caledonia, Cayuga, Dunnville, Hagersville, Jarvis and Townsend. The spring collection period runs until May 24.

Residents outside of urban areas can dispose of leaf and yard waste year-round at the Canborough Waste Management Facility, free of charge.

Materials can be placed at the curb in paper yard waste bags (rolled shut) or in open-top, reusable containers labelled "yard waste." Collection will occur on your regularly scheduled collection day, but timing may vary as these materials are picked up by a separate truck.
