Dietary services

Our dedicated dietary staff are committed to providing a relaxed and pleasurable dining experience. We provide nutritious foods that contribute to our residents’ quality of life, offering three meals and three snacks daily that are suited to the dietary requirements of the resident.

Our menus are designed to follow Canada’s Food Guide and Ministry of Health regulations, with ongoing training for staff to stay current on healthy meal choices.

Housekeeping/laundry services

Maintaining a clean, pleasant, and home-like atmosphere for our residents is a top priority, and is provided throughout all buildings by a dedicated housekeeping team. Laundry is offered on-site both by our staff and as self-serve for residents who wish to do their own.

Maintenance services

In-house maintenance staff are on site daily to ensure our building is safe and functionable for everyone in the home.

Nursing services

Nursing services are available to residents 24/7 and are provided by a skilled team of Registered Nurses, Registered Practical Nurses and Personal Support Workers. Our team strives to meet the medical needs of all residents and provides assistance with daily activities.

Hairdresser/barber

Residents can enjoy hairdressing and barber services at our in-home salon. The salon also provides a great place for socializing.

Social Service Worker

New to Grandview Lodge in 2023, our on-site Social Service Worker provides social, emotional and behavioural support to our residents and families during the transition into care, throughout their time at the Lodge, and during end of life. These supports include advocacy, counselling, family visit support, conflict resolution and more.
