Grandview Lodge

About the Lodge

Grandview Lodge has been a long-term care home since 1910. In 2006, our home was rebuilt and now facilitates 128 beds within four separate home home areas, providing 24-hour long-term care to a diverse population ranging in age from 18 to 100+. We’re proud to have earned accreditation with exemplary status for meeting national standards of excellence in quality care and services.

Operated by Haldimand County, Grandview Lodge follows a social model of care. Our team adheres to DementiAbility principles for dementia and utilizes the Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA). As a leader in dementia care, we provide tours and education to a variety of organizations, including other long-term care homes, family councils of Ontario and local colleges.
