Lake Erie Industrial Park Wastewater Treatment System Environmental Study Report Addendum
The Lake Erie Industrial Park (LEIP) Wastewater Treatment System provides wastewater collection and treatment services for the Stelco lagoons and surrounding communities of Townsend and Jarvis.
In 2021, we began the process of preparing an Addendum to the original 2011 Environmental Study Report with a goal to:
- Extend the timeframe of the original Environmental Study Report by 10 years
- Update technical studies and confirm conditions haven't significantly changed from the original study
- Review the findings in the broader context of the Highway 6 Corridor Water and Wastewater Servicing Strategy
The Addendum was completed in 2022.
