Haldimand County is governed by an elected Council with the Chief Administrative Officer as the head of administration, supported by five General Managers responsible for specific County departments.
Chief Administrative Officer: Cathy Case
The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) is the most senior official in the County's administrative structure. The role is appointed by Council, working closely with them to provide leadership and ensure Council priorities are achieved.
The CAO also oversees major County projects and priorities, ensures the implementation of Council-approved policies and programs, and leads advocacy and government relations efforts.
