Noise By-law
Rules around acceptable noise levels throughout Haldimand are governed by our Noise By-law.

To submit your request:

- Report in person at the Administration Building
For animal-related concerns, contact animal control services.
To contact the Ontario Provincial Police, call 1-888-310-1122 for non-emergencies or 911 for emergencies.

Exempt from the Noise By-law
In certain circumstances, noise may be exempt under the by-law. In most cases, this includes sounds resulting from:
- Public safety and highways
- Agricultural or farm activity
- Bells and clocks, public and religious
- County operations
- Traditional, festive or religious activities
