Family farms have been a staple of our economy for generations, and agricultural employment is stronger in Haldimand than the provincial and federal sectors. Our farmers specialize in crop production, animal production and aquaculture.

Agricultural matters in Haldimand are guided by our Agricultural Advisory Committee, who advise Council on agri-business issues and policies.
