Navigating the development process can be challenging and time-consuming. When considering the entire process from the purchase of land to building occupancy, along with a number of required studies, permits, and sign-offs, it can be especially daunting.
Our Development Concierge Team is here to help you through the process using a cross-divisional team that will provide the tools and follow-up necessary to ensure you’re given the best opportunity to succeed.
The team consists of:
- Manager of Economic Development and Tourism (Team Lead)
- A Senior Economic Development Officer
- A Planner
- A Development and Design Technologist
- A Building Inspector
- Property Coordinator
- A Water and Wastewater Technologist or the Supervisor of Environmental Operations

Program eligibility
The Develop Concierge Team evaluates each project on its individual characteristics to determine if the development activity qualifies for concierge support.
Some considerations for qualification include:
- Investment in substantial new capital in the community
- Bringing new full-time, ongoing employment to Haldimand County
- High profile developments that require additional staff support
- Existing business operations wishing to expand or relocate within Haldimand County
- Existing business operations considering job cuts or moving operations and employees outside of Haldimand County
