Highway 54 Bridge Removal & Grand Vista Trail 2 Extension

This project will remove the existing rail overpass bridge on Haldimand Road 54/Munsee Street North in Cayuga and replace it with a new road profile. This project will also include building an AODA compliant trailhead and parking area for the Grand Vista Trail.
A by-pass road will be built on the west side of the Haldimand Road 54/Munsee Street North before the bridge removal to allow traffic to continue through the project area during construction. The Grand Vista trailhead will be completed following the reopening of Haldimand Road 54.
