Argyle Street Bridge Closure – Oct 16 to 18

The Ministry of Transportation is conducting a structural inspection of the Argyle Street Bridge in October 2024. To complete this work, a full bridge closure will be required from October 16 to 18 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The bridge will remain open for pedestrian traffic.

Each year, as part of regular maintenance procedures, a thorough inspection is conducted to evaluate the bridge’s structural condition. Residents are asked to use the Highway 6 bypass as detour during this time.
